Dr. Vani is a Bangalore-based artist specializing in the Saraswati Veena, with extensive training in instrumental Carnatic classical music. Her gurus are her parents, Violin Vidwan Mr. Narasimha Murthy and Veena Vidhushi Mrs. Vijaya Murthy. Guided by them since childhood, she is dedicated to reviving the timeless beauty of the veena by blending traditional Carnatic sounds with contemporary musical styles.

Dr. Vani’s expertise ranges from the traditional Hamsa Veena to the modern electronic veena. She skillfully incorporates Sandalwood and Bollywood melodies into her performances, making the veena resonate with contemporary audiences.
